Our first lunch choice was closed so we found Noodle Cafe on Google maps. Delicious surprise. All three of our noodle dishes were excellent, better than similar Portland options. We had three different noodle dishes, and the garlic oyster appetizer. The seasonings and ingredients were all exceptional. When the chef/owner saw we liked spice, she provided her own home made chili sauce, which was also terrific. So glad we ended up here, better than most similar options in Portland.

Has an interesting dining room, with storage off to one side and stuff my kid wanted to get into. Other than that, the staff was very nice and accommodated my picky kid, letting us order off the menu. I really liked my Kung Pao Tofu and the spring rolls. I asked for hot and they gave me the best hot pepper oil!!! The service was super quick. I will visit again on my next trip to Newport, Or.

Great place to eat with good food, fair prices, and friendly service. This spot feels like a rare gem in Newport. The restaurant is small, seating around 20 people, but it’s clean, cozy, and comfortable. There’s plenty of parking across the street. We chose this place late in the evening because we were tired and wanted something close by. I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw the menu since it featured dishes from different cuisines. In my experience, that usually means hit-or-miss, but that wasn’t the case here. We ordered from multiple cuisines to try a bit of everything. We had Pho, Jung Bong, Shrimp Tempura Noodle, and Bulgogi—a mix of Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese favorites. To our surprise, every dish was excellent. The broth in the Pho was rich and flavorful, the noodles were firm and fresh, and the chili oil was unique but great. The Bulgogi was tender and well seasoned, and the Shrimp Tempura Noodle was light yet satisfying. We later spoke with the owner, who told us the noodles are made in-house and the chili oil is prepared from scratch using their own recipe. Even more interesting, each dish on the menu came from a different family member’s background, which makes the experience feel personal and genuine. If you plan to visit Newport or live nearby, give this place a try. Seafood might be what most people go for when they are here, but this spot deserves a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Very good food. We got there at close to 7:00p on a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy and for good reason. The staff is friendly and owner is a very lovely person. I will be back to the restaurant the next time I’m back in Newport.

Our first visit here, visiting from Corvallis. We will definitely come back! The Beef Pho was delicious! We also had the Chicken Curry & Miso Ramen & Pot stickers. It was all very good. The best part was the very helpful & kind owner. She helped us feel very welcome with our 6 year old daughter. I got the sense that she cares a lot about our experience & I left with a very positive impression. It’s not a fancy place, and the food is well worth the visit. Thank you!

Absolutely the best asian food in all of Oregon! My husband and I lived on the coast for 17 years and went Lisa's at least 4 times a month. Her warm friendly smile and her attentive friendly staff makes it a dining pleasure. The quality, quantity, and very reasonable price for it all makes Noodle Cafe a must for your coastal dining choices. We live in Portland now and still drive there for eat in lunch and a delicious take home dinner! Noodle Cafe rocks!

My husband and I have been going to Noodle Cafe since they were in their old location. We would and will follow them anywhere! Every time we come to the coast, we stop here. This trip, we have 2 nights in Newport and will be eating here both nights. Its that good! Lisa is fabulous and so kind and welcoming as are all the other gals that work here. The food is 5 stars, literally everything on the menu is so good! 5+ stars, easy!
